About Finest KO.com

Finest KO.com was created in February 2004 to create awareness for Capcom vs. SNK 2. After struggling with server changes and real-life, the site closed down in the middle of 2005. Although the site was down and out, it was still lurking on WindyMan's home computer, waiting to return. Two years later in April of 2007, it returned to a CvS2 community that seemed to be making a comeback.

The primary focus of the site is to bring more local tournament videos to the SoCal area, something that is seriously lacking. This in turn will help current CvS2 players become better, and hopefully will help more people play the game and enter tournaments.

In addition to the tournament finals of the various events, we will also try to showcase some of the lesser-used characters in the game that show up. This is to show the world that yes, there are more than five or six characters in the game, and they can be used quite effectively.

Eventually, this site will also become a resource for beginning and intermediate players looking to learn the game for the first time, or those trying to pick up the game who have experience with other fighting games, and want to try something new.

Finest KO also houses a wealth of interesting information about the game, including stage and character profiles. When talking about the game with your buddies, you can whip out a nugget of fascinating information about CvS2, and impress the hell out of them!

Finest KO.com is the work of Steven "WindyMan" Rodriguez. If you see someone kicking your ass with N-Kyo/Maki/Hibiki, he's the guy responsible for this place.

Link Exchange

If you run a CvS2 community website, we would be glad to link to you in exchange for you linking to us! E-mail in the link to your site, a brief description, and a 100×42 non-animated GIF or JPG button for your site that will be posted on the main page. (You may also submit a general graphic or site logo, and we'll size it down for you.) We'll send you back a Finest KO button or banner in a size you designate, you post it on your site, and we'll be linked up! Simple as that.
