Character Profile
Kyo is a member of the legendary Kusanagi family. Members of the Kusanagi clan and the Yamagi clan sealed away the great evil known as the Orochi thousands of years ago. However, the Yamagi family made later a pact with the very evil they sealed away, and as a result, the two ancient allies have been fighting against each other for generations. In the present, Kyo uses the power of the Crimson Flame to fight against his eternal rival Iori Yamagi, who is trying to kill Kyo.
Kyo is in his twenties, but still attends high school. He's very lazy, arrogant, stuck up, and an asshole in general. This is mostly because he really doesn't care about anything that's not his girlfriend or his motorcycle. Although he's argueably the greatest fighter in the history of King of Fighters tournament, he's really nothing more than a good-for-nothing punk kid.

Character Stratagies
In order for a Kyo player to be effective, he needs to be up close and personal. Until Kyo knocks down his opponent and gets in close, he's just a nuisance, since he isn't any real long range threat. Once he's in close, though, he can do major damage off of jabs and shorts. He builds meter very well, and doesn't need to use it himself, which makes him an excellent battery character choice.

Special Intros
Iori - Kyo holds up a flame in one of his hands. Iori holds up a flame in one of his hands. Both clench their fists to put out the fire and prepare to fight.
Ryu - Ryu stands firm as Kyo tosses a plume of fire across his face. Kyo taunts him, and Ryu tells him to bring it on.
Benimaru - In the Shanghai and Nairobi stages, Goro Damien will appear in the background during any fight between Kyo and Benimaru. The three were the original Hero Team in King of Fighters '94.
