Character Profile
Raiden is as big and as strong as they come. Finding no decent competition in his native Australia, he decided to come to America. He wound up in Southtown, and came to be under the employment of Geese Howard, serving as one of his bodyguards. He flattened all who threatened his boss with ease, and his ego got a little out of hand. It wasn't until the Bogard brothers came to town when he was defeated, and realized what a fool he was. To this day, he still respects Terry Bogard, and they've become friends out of respect for each other.

Character Stratagies
Raiden is unique in that he is a grappler-type that also has standard specials and supers. Unlike Zangief, he can land a high-damage super combo off a few jabs in his Crazy Train. Also unlike the Russian, his regular punch throw has a ridiculous 85px range, and his Lv3 720 is the farthest-reaching in the game. He plays like a faster, more agile version of Zangief, but because he doesn't have the same ranged pokes as him, Raiden needs to be closer more often to be effective.
Computer AI Routine
Watch out for his crouching roundhouse kick, because a CPU Raiden loves to stick it out. Also, be careful when a Poison Breath comes out, since he might follow it up with another if it's blocked. The move he abuses the most is the Giant Bomb. With all that invincibilty and priority, it's a move he relies on. Look out for it when waking up especially, because it stays out a very long time. Of course, he'll throw you too, so if he jumps in a bit too close, it's a good sign he wants to grab you.
Special Intros
Zangeif - Both are locked up in a grapple before the fight begins, and then the wrestling rivals hop into position to start the round.
